About Us
We started our adventure in Thailand in 1994 under the brand DEP Engineering , providing a broad range of electrical products including switchgear, distribution cabinets, cables, wires and lighting, In 2012, DEP Engineering joined Sonepar to continue its development and benefit from the knowledge and the expertise of by the world’s leader. Through this partnership we became one of Thailand’s top electrical products supply firms. In 2014, ETS-Oakwell, an oil and gas specialist in electrical product and solution, founded in 2001, also joined Sonepar and brought its expertise in this highly specialized industry vertical. In 2020, together with Cable Solutions (Thailand), a specialized distributor of cables for residential, commercial and industrial projects, these three companies decided to combine forces and operate as one, Underthe brand Sonepar Thailand.
Today, We are constantly expanding our product and service range so that we can meet our customers’ needs. To better serve our large customer base in the fast-growing market, we are now organized into three business divisions in Thailand: Electrical Distribution Business, Project Business Division, Oil and Gas Business Division.
We leverage our strong global resource base, our local autonomy, and our family-oriented oriented values to deliver the best products and services for our customers and suppliers. In seeking the continuous development and efficiency of our associates, Sonepar’s decentralized organizational structure encourages the entrepreneurial spirit and synergies at all levels while respecting the balance between local initiatives and overall group policy.
